If you are in the tech industry (or airplanes, or anything ultra-hip), then your business travel schedule likely includes a night or two in Seattle. The Emerald City, with its breathtaking views and vibrant food scene, never fails to impress—plus there’s a lot of fun to be had, so plan at least an extra day for sightseeing. Here are our recommendations for the top 10 Seattle hotels for business travelers.

Four Seasons Seattle

Four Seasons hotels always find their way onto our Top Hotels lists, and with TripAdvisor reviews like “My favorite hotel in America” and “One of the best hotels ever,” it was a no-brainer to put the Seattle property at the top of this one. The business amenities include function and breakout rooms, dining facilities, and even programs for accompanying spouses. The downtown location also puts guests in easy walking distance of the city’s quintessential attraction: Pike Place Market.

Hyatt at Olive 8

Hyatt at Olive 8 is a modern luxury property and also the city’s first LEED certified hotel. Excellent amenities come standard at the Hyatt, but by joining their Business Plan, business travelers also get perks like one shirt or blouse pressed per day, full breakfast, bottled water, and long distance phone calls.

Fairmont Olympic

The Fairmont Olympic is an elegant hotel right in the heart of downtown Seattle. The business services far exceed those offered at most hotels—think secretarial services, notary services, and even computer rentals. The hotel also has a floor full of luxury business suites for travelers who need an office-away-from-the-office. And if you’re an oyster fan, you should definitely eat at Shuckers.

Pan Pacific Seattle

Located in trendy Belltown, the Pan Pacific is a bit farther from the popular tourist destinations, but closer to the hot dining and nightlife action. Business travelers will find everything they need in terms of business services and meeting and event spaces. Frequent travelers should also consider joining the GHA guest loyalty program, which entitles members to business-friendly perks like early check-in, late check-out, and upgrades. Plus, there is complimentary town car service, which is hard to beat.

Sheraton Seattle

Being right next door to the Washington State Convention Center, the Sheraton Seattle caters specifically to business travelers. It may not have the cachet of some of the other hotels on this list, but if it’s location you want, then this is your place. Book a Club Room for access to the Club Lounge, which serves complimentary breakfast and evening hors d’oeuvres as well as offers some business center services.

Alexis Hotel

Business travelers who prefer a more personalized experience will love the Alexis, a boutique Kimpton hotel located right downtown. Reviewers love the location, the staff, and especially the complimentary coffee and wine hours. The Kimpton Karma Rewards program is already pretty good ($10 per stay to spend on the minibar), but join the Kimpton Global Business program for additional perks including lower rates, late check-outs, and exclusive weekend specials.

Grand Hyatt Seattle

The Grand Hyatt provides Four Seasons elegance at a slightly lower price. It is about a block from the convention center, so perfect for business travelers. If you are hosting a meeting, let the hotel staff plan not only the meeting itself, but also fun adventures around the city for your group. See the Hyatt at Olive 8 above for a description of the Hyatt’s Business Plan.

Seattle Marriott Waterfront

If you are a member of the Marriott Rewards club (and why wouldn’t you be?), you will want to book a room at this waterfront property, which features some of Seattle’s best views. With 15 meeting rooms and 13 breakout rooms, the Marriott is also an excellent place to host your own meeting or event. Additional business services include messenger, courier, and secretarial services.

Westin Seattle

The Westin Seattle recently underwent a $35 million renovation, so the hotel is now well-deserving of the brand name. Business travelers who want some extra work space will enjoy the Executive Suites, which average 650 square feet. The hotel also has business services and meeting rooms, and it is located in close proximity to everything.

Crowne Plaza Seattle

Finally, for business travelers on a budget, the Crowne Plaza (which has also recently been renovated) offers many of the same advantages of other properties on this list, without the high price tag. Book a Club Room for a daily deluxe continental breakfast and weeknight evening hors d’oeuvres.

Book with Hotel Engine for the best price on your next Seattle business hotel.
